On May 20, leaders of the NATO military alliance will start their summit for war planners in Chicago–and activists will march in their thousands in dissent (meet at 12 noon, Petrillo Band Shell in Chicago’s Grant Park).
And though the GS summit was moved to the fortress of Camp David, we will also march against their plans for global austerity.
One week earlier, on May 12-13, students, activists, Occupiers, trade unionists, faith communities, racial justice organizers, environmentalists and many more will come together for the People’s Summit.
You’re invited to join this historic gathering!
Come and learn from a wide array of activists and experts from Chicago, from around the country and from around the world.
You won’t want to miss it!
This event is free and open to the public. Donations are much appreciated and can be made using a credit card on our website. Pre-registration is highly encouraged and will save you time on day of conference. The first meeting is at 10 am.
