George Ochsenfeld sent a message using the contact form at http://occupychi.org/contact.

Rev. Jesse Jackson is trying to get Occupy Chicago to protest at Peotone in favor of the proposed Peotone airport and in favor of getting Quinn to give control of the project to his son Cong. Jesse Jackson.

This would be inconistent with Occupy vales for the following reasons:
Congressman Jackson's developer SNC Lavalin is a corrupt, gigantic transnational corporation which recently got caught trying to smuggle M. Kadaffi's son into Mexico. They had had a $250 million contract with Moumaar Kadafi to build a prison in Libya. They were also involved in the biggest corporate/political scandal in the history of Inda, where they were going to build s dam, but the Indains got burned for hundreds of millions. All this can be documented by googling SNC Lavalin & scandal.

In addition, an airport at Peotone would clearly be the wrong this to do from an ecological perspective. I can provide lots of info on why the airport is not needed and would not create lasting jobs.

More info on the proposed airport and why it would be wron to support it can be fount at: http://chblog.ozarkattitude.com/

Please let me know where you stand on this issue, and whether Occupy Chicago intends to occupy Peotone on April 21. Thanks.

Hi, I am wondering how this protest went, and would like to know if there are plans to have another one. Any information would be greatly appreciated. I am planning on coming out to the next protest, so I have been looking for a place to stay. So far, the best site to find a place to stay is: www.chicagotraveler.com/chicago-hotels.htm, but I would be happy to hear any other suggestions. Also, does anyone have any suggestions regarding cheap Chicago Transportation for when I get there, because I will not have a car. Thanks!
