OCRAC event March 23rd, move GA?

Hello Secretariat!

It’s Justin Bianchi, representing Arts & Rec.

You may recall about two weeks ago we had our OCRAC launch at the wicker park arts center. It was a Friday night and directly conflicted with a General Assembly where several contentious issues were voted on.

We are having another OCRAC event at the same venue, Wicker Park Arts Center 2215 w. North Ave on Friday March 23rd.

In order to prevent people from having to choose which event to attend, Arts & Rec discussed two options.

Option 1. Since there is ample notice in advance, ask you, Secretariat, to host G.A. at 5pm on Friday March 23rd

Option 2. Move the G.A. to 2215 W. North Ave. the issue with option 2 is occupy Chicago G.A. is supposed to be free (our event will not be) and #Ochi is supposed to be a drug and Alcohol free movement, which our event will not. Solution! Wicker park Arts center is large and we could have the General Assembly upstairs in the large church area and then after G.A. invite those who want to stay for the show downstairs to pay admission and where we will begin selling Alcohol, before cleaning and reopening the upper level for music & speakers.
