We need this “Congressional Reform Act of 2012”

Use this section to suggest / discuss potential proposals to present at GA. This should allow people that can't make it to many GA's to share their ideas / suggestions.

Check this out, makes good sense at the very least it's a start on what can be done with the way things are in Washington. Take this Congressional Reform Act of 2012 to the Natl Occupation of Washington DC 3/30/12 get it @ http://www.breadandwaterproductions.com/

It's pretty good, but simply saying we support it isn't going to help and quite frankly will just be another piece of time wasting empty filler at a GA. No offense intended.

Instead of just saying we agree with something we should come up with a plan on how we can make Illinois truly support these eight points. That's what our proposal should be, a true plan to get these past.

What steps are necessary? What steps are we going to take? This is what Occupy Chicago should be doing.

Ben I totally agree!
Instead of passing all totally useless proposals about what small committee is going to make decissions for the majority and reasons why we can,t video stream our GAs these are the things they should be getting behind, the messaging they should be getting out.So that the OC can grow and be more inclusive as a movement like Oakland Wall Street. Not a frat.Do not know about you but I am not seeing many new faces at the different marchs. We need people from all walks of life to get anywhere.
