A Larger Impact

Imagine the effect Occupy Wall Street would have if we all closed our bank accounts, especially at the 'big' banks and opened our accounts at credit unions or if you prefer, your local community bank.
I believe Citi, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, etc. would change their attitude very quickly in fear of going out of business.

Also, if we all stopped paying these big banks our mortgage payments, they would definitely go out of business. We bailed them out with our tax payments and they turned around and threw is out into the street by foreclosing on us.

And thirdly, if we all stopped paying our student loans, this would have such a powerful impact.

It is very good we demonstrate and voice our concerns and feelings. I am just afraid these big banks are laughing at us because we support them with our checking/savings accounts, mortgage payments, and student loan payments.
If we stop supporting them I believe millions of other Americans would follow.
Thank you.
