Yay!!! So excited we have working space!!! I'm just worried that Friday is too soon to hold GA there. We would only have one day to promote via SM and word of mouth and one day isn't alot....


If we have open house? Is the media invited, or just occupy? I kinda wanna see the new spot and get familiar before the media. Kinda get it sectioned off, and set up before we open it up like that..... You always should unpack and set up before a housewarming says good ettiquite. Just my two cents for what they are worth.

Just wanted to add the first post on the website says Ga has Moved to HQ. People are not going to know it's at Cermak if that stays.

There is already a plan set to have GA at Cermak, and SM is working on promoting it, but yet we do need to have an announcement on the website to notify everyone.

The media will not be invited until the 28th. There was a presentation yesterday at GA stating that the media will not be allowed to come into the space until that date. We will hold an official press conference and tour for the media that day from what I know.

As far as the Open House, we have actually been planning on this for a week or two but have just been waiting to hear what the move in date will be. Now the challenge will just be filling the space with furniture, cleaning it up and making it look presentable.

I don't think expectations will be too high for appearance but the main thing is that we want everyone to know that we have a new working space available, and to use that as a way to generate some interest, and collect donations

I can provide rides Saturday & Sunday afternoon & night, for people who need to get from HQ or Grace to Cermak (or vice versa).

I can move small objects in my car also.
