[Contact form] radical mapping project coming our way from O

Emmy Bean sent a message using the contact form at http://occupychi.org/contact.

Hi friends on the Arts and Rec Committee ...

I'm a supporter of Occupy Chicago and very excited to introduce a project that my friend Amy Walsh has initiated at Occupy Providence. Amy is an artist and educator who has gotten into mapping as a way of collective visioning for the Occupy movement, and wants to spread some tools to help folks around the country do their own mapping thing.
So I would love to find out how it would be best to meet you all, introduce this idea, and find out who might be interested -- or how it would best be adapted to Occupy Chi's needs.
I'm happy to provide more info on how it's going so far in PVD, but wanted to also get a sense of how the Arts & Rec scene is here and what's needed/wanted most.

OK, thanks! Look forward to talking more, and
big love for the work you're doing.

Cheers,
Emmy Bean

Hey Emmy,
sorry for the absurdly late reply. Us artists have been having some technical issues. If this is still a project that you are interested in please let me know! It sounds very cool! We have a meeting Tuesday night at 6pm on the 2nd fl of Roosevelt University at Congress and Michigan if you'd like to join us!
Thanks!
