People's Thanksgiving

The organizers of the annual People's Thanksgiving this Saturday (11/3) from 4-8pm (dinner at 5pm) at Trinity Church (125 E. 26th St) are giving an award to Occupy Chicago:

"The most important development in the US this year is the Occupy Wall Street movement, which has brought a visible resistance to the unequal system created by the richest 1% of society. OWS is raising the level of class consciousness in the US and has made an historic contribution - they have identified the enemy: Wall Street “banksters.” We’re proud to welcome Occupy Chicago to our 20th Anniversary People’s Thanksgiving"

Tickets are $30 or $5 for the unemployed and small children.

They have given 10 tickets to Occupy Chicago, so we are distributing 2 tickets to each of the neighborhood occupations: Occupy Chicago, Occupy Rogers Park, Occupy Pilsen, Occupy the Hood, and Occupy the South Side.
