Which potential proposals are actually up for vote?
It seems to me that perhaps it is a bit difficult to see what is a current proposal and what is a past proposal. Additionally, I do not think there is a way to identify what day the proposals will be voted on. Perhaps I overlooked something?
My point is basically, that a discussion forum is just that a place for discussion. The actual proposals after they have been discussed should be posted in a separate tab on the front page, with a date that they will be voted on. And then upon voting, the results of the vote should be posted and the proposal would be moved to either passed proposals or blocked proposals.
Many people are not very computer literate and forums can be a bit rough to navigate for those that are not fully aware of the way they function. Under the ideal of Unity and Respect for everyone, I believe this is an important and fairly simple change.
For example, this is not yet an actual proposal...I'm posting this to discuss the proposal. Please let me know your thoughts and we can work towards making an official proposal.

I agree with you though. All proposals should include a date on which they are to be voted on and kept up to date with outcomes.
