Correct me if I'm wrong...but I think he's asking where we propose and vote on technical changes.

We really need to stop using 2 different hashtags on Twitter. #occupychicago is used more that #occupychi.

Most people outside of chicago and even a good portion of people in the chicago suburbs do not call Chicago "chi"

And people outside of the state and even outside of the country would not use "occupychi", they use and will continue to use "occupychicago"

Having 2 separate hashtags is an obvious problem for MANY reasons.

The ONLY upside to using "occupychi" is that it save 4 character spaces, but the upside for focusing only on "occupychicago" far outweigh saving 4 character spaces.

We need to promote the use of "occupychicago" ASAP, it will help consolidate news, information, etc... and it will make it easier for newcomers across the planet to find occupychicago on Twitter.

This is really something that should have been fixed weeks ago. We need to do everything we can to simplify and consolidate our resources. This is something that can be done to have an immediate positive impact on OccupyChicago

I think this whole new format is not novice user friendly. And is not conversation friendly.TO converse you have to search all over the site to find a topic. The old system flowed alot better. To comment on the ga theres no submit bar This is ok if you are tech savy but you are excluding alot of input

Sure jim, just not from tech, but I do hear there is a "committee for good lovin" check with them.

As for "where do we vote for tech changes" via this forum, or you can join tech committee and make them yourself . This may seem harsh but keep in mind tech is volunteers, not employees.

This does not mean we are not open to external ideas, we most assuredly are, however, just as no one can tell Direct Action what to do, you can suggest actions, Direct Action decides what they will do. The same follows with Tech (and all the committees I believe)
