medical briefing for security saturday the 12th.

We will be holding a medical briefing for security and safety people this saturday the 12th from 4pm-6pm during the concert. Medic Scott and I will be rotating safety people through an approximate 1.5 hour medical briefing during which we will cover:

Medic roles at protests
Dressing for cold weather actions
Situational awareness
Police tactics
recognizing medical problems/emergencies
universal precautions
police weapons and injuries associated with them
recognizing outside "affinity groups" and how do approach them
protecting ones self from chemical weapons
eye flushes for chemical weapons

Dress warm and bring a water proof jacket if possible!

all medics who want to attend are welcome, come meet the medic committee, get some info and exchange contact. will be meeting at 4pm at congress and jackson, if you do not see us, get ahold of a security person and have them direct yourself to Bunny, who can send you to us!
