An Awesome Idea: NATIONAL SING ALONG
We are writing to invite you to participate in a nationwide city-by-city SingAlong video which will support the 99%/Occupy movement. Our team will cover the costs of editing this video project.
We are a small non-profit media group working with the Peninsula Peace & Justice Center in Palo Alto, CA. Our goal? A short composite documentary of different groups singing WE SHALL OVERCOME. The final piece will be woven together by an OSCAR-nominated, EMMY-winning filmmaker, who is volunteering her time to support this effort.
Want to learn more?
Details below...and thank you for what you are doing.

Re: An Awesome Idea: NATIONAL SING ALONG
make one suggestion.
The song "We Shall Overcome" has a special meaning to the 1964
Civil Rights (64 CRM) movement. Much of the symbolism of the 64 CRM
is in parts of the South - especially Atlanta, GA.
Please think about ways to feature and integrate imagery from the
64 CRM as the project films in places where there are organisations
like The King Center and the SCLC.
If you want to REACH OUT to the 64 CRM in general consider
contacting someone who is plugged into the present infrastructure
of the 64 CRM:
Maynard Eaton
National Director of Communications
320 Auburn Avenue, NE
Atlanta, GA 30303

Please take a look at the FR12 proposed Freedom Ride for July 2012.
It is an outreach effort that your singalong project will ADD VALUE!
Sincerely,
