? about the GOOD NEWS

last night there were various setbacks to the 1% . :D In Ohio, for example, there was a referendum that allowed greater collective bargaining rights. In Maine, they allowed voters to register the same day they voted. These are all steps that help the 99%.

What is the prescence of Occupy in Ohio (I'm guessing it's not real big in Maine)? If there are Occupy groups in Ohio, how much do you think they helped with the victory last night.
My feeling is that airing the problems that the 1% has caused and having the media pay attention to us can't help but hurt the 1%.

Hey Leftwing! Thanks for your post. The Occupy Ohio movement is in play. They have a developing Twitter precence and Occupations in Cleveland, Columbus, Toledo, and Cincinnati. Their strength is still uncertain but they were very active leading up to yesterdays vote on Facebook and Twitter with educating people around the issue. I can imagine them growing the most in Columbus and Cleveland. Cincinnati is pretty conservative and they arrested or "cited" many folks early on to put some head winds in that city.. Being a native Ohio'n who relocated to Chi town 10 years ago they are dear to my heart and I have no doubt they had some influence on the votes to vote down this issue.

Ohio 99% = 1 Ohio 1% = 0
