I'd like to discuss some ways to better utilize the massive wealth of photos/videos on services like Flickr and Vimeo that are tagged with "occupy" or "Occupy Chicago" and how we can better organize all the data.

I see a lot of cameras, phones and other recording devices at the rallies and GA, but I have a hard time locating most of it on the internet and making any sense of what it all means. If we had a way to highlight certain images, relevant to national/global stories we could paint an accurate picture of what's going on and provide something very easy for other media outlets and news resources to share, distribute and reblog.

Who's in charge of the webmaster duties? Media/Press committee? I'd like to submit some ideas on how to organize and present the documentation of the movement.

Let's talk!

We have been looking into a service called braking voices to help aggregate all of the stuff happening everywhere with occupy.

Also, we are in the process of developing our own gallery system to allow people to upload photos and create online galleries.

The old page with a bunch of links looked crappy. We're coordinating about making it a real multimedia presentation type thing.

So, to put it bluntly, don't ask for permission to submit ideas. Submit them here!
