There was a proposal at last nights GA that discussed giving the DAC (Direct Action Committee) the ok and guidlines around "SMall Actions" to disturb and motivate our cause. I really liked where it is going. Meeting face to face is also a great idea. Two actions this week to watch. Nov. 2nd there will be solidarity with Oaklands general strike and it is anticipated there will a lot of students that walk out of class at 5pm. Nov 5th there are 400k people nationwide committed to taking there $$ out of the major banks.

Good message Daniel. Agreed. I propose that all who are ready to meet for the direct action committee call out a place and time.

I live in Ukrainian Village - locally I propose meeting at the Chicago Public library on Chicago ave or some other public space.

Andrew Breitbart will speak on the topic of Hollywood, the Media, and Obama: How Elites are Taking Away Your Freedoms. The event begins at 6:00 p.m. in Swift Hall room 107.

Ok, then. Let's shoot for this Thursday directly after 7PM GA. We should keep committee meetings near the core until we get more acquainted with committee members. We'll have to feel it out as more people come one board, but I think this is a good starting point.

I'll make a general announcement via email about this to inform other committees of our business.
