Turkish Political Philosophy Journal Cogito Seeks Submissions
Re: Turkish Political Philosophy Journal Cogito Seeks Submissions
"A Turkish political philosophy journal is looking to translate and publish some material on the #Occupy movement(s). They're looking more for first-hand accounts from individuals than analysis pieces.
So for instance, a personal reflection about participating in a general assembly or leading a workshop is more on topic here than a philosophical analysis of the general assembly as liberatory praxis. Pieces do not need to be very long and a wide variety of short pieces would probably fit better, with my understanding of what the editors are doing.
The journal is called Cogito – here's the website:

(English version) http://www.ykykultur.com.tr/eng/english/
If you or anyone you know has written something along these lines (or wants to write something right now!) and would welcome it being translated into Turkish and published in Turkey, please comment here or message me. If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask. This is time-sensitive because the journal is going to print in a week – and there needs to be time to translate pieces. Thanks." – Jay Cassano
This is a really exciting opportunity; I will submit a piece and hope you will too! Contact Jay with any questions or to submit your writing: cassano.jay@gmail.com
