i'm hoping to hear back from someone, really, because i am planning to join occupy summit all the way from occupy missoula, montana. i'll be there oct 10-23rd. i have intentions of hanging out, going to GA's if i can and joining a foreclosure defense working group if you have one. i thot there was one when i checked several months ago but i can't specifically remember. i'd love to help with food service or first aid if you need/have a tent for those things. i have family i can stay the nights with, but if there is any camping planned i'd do that too for sure.
but really, i need some information, even just in general, but a bit more details than what i can find here on the site. it's less than a month now and i need to get my travel arrangements, amtrak ticket for instance purchased.

Great to hear you are so interested and wish to join in our protest against NATO/G8. For a good intro I would say check out:

This gives an idea of what our plans for May are. We will be holding The People's Summit on May 12-13. We will also be holding a music and art festival on that same day. Info on this here:

We will not be able to house all of the thousands of people that will come into protest, but we are workign to house as many as we can.

When you get into Chicago I'd say a good first step would be to come to our headqaurters, which is a warehouse at 500 W Cermak Rd, Chicago, IL 60616. If you are taking the Amtrak you can get here by taking the red line train (Chicago's version of a city subway system). HQ is half a mile away from the Chinatown/Cermak stop. Ask for help at Union Station, where your Amtrak will get in, for directions to the red line. You can also search for public transit directions on Google Maps. See you in May!
