Protests have had a problems with Moles in the past (cops, authority figures that got into & SPIED a protest movement are a type of MOLE, as many of you know)
Let's take a concise historical view of mole
I think that the anti-war demonstrators fighting against Vietnam War had a beneficial effect. No, they didn't SINGLE-handedly end the war, but they forced an end to the draft.
There's been other protests that worked have been effective - demonstrations against S. African apartheid (they forced certain entities to disinvest in that pariah nation before Mandela took over).

But moles have been a serious obstacle to protests groups. There may have been a mole (Leo Burt) in the group that bombed and launched a major major crackdown during Vietnam War

Yes... which is why... OWS must stop being a protest movement... and become a serious legit political organization... with candidates who commit... commit... to real plans to solve the problems we face.

Moles, generally... are there for a reason.... to provide what will be needed to bring a group down...
or...
To spy on... and provide intel to those who want to bring it down.

the solution to defeating moles... is to be a legit org... with legit goals.. and to reject those who want to be anything but legit.... period.

That is how you get rid of moles... you get serious... get legit.. get real.. and commit for good efforts...
Doing so... causes moles to get bored... unless they have a specific mission.

Otherwise... wacko groups... who want to do bad... must avoid recruiting.. and avoid introductions to people they hear are interested in those kind of bad things... as that is how the mole gets in.

If OWS... was to take me as their leader... I would say yes.. we can at least castrate all moles, by becoming a legit and serious political organization, a political party... legally bent on taking power, legally.. by election.

To do this... we.. as an org... need good plans to solve the nations problems, and low and behold, I say I can provide those as well.

I wouldn't be here talking to you, unless I had complete confidence that I can do so... as no one argues with that.
