Would you consider a 7:30AM march and rally at city hall to get it on the Morning news?

Occupy Oakland was surrounded and arrested after a peaceful march in protest of being denied access to a building for a community center and the peaceful march containing children was fired upon using tear gas and flash bangs. This outrageous behavior in the name of the City of Oakland should be condemned by our Mayor and Aldermen as an assault on the 1st and 4th amendment rights to freedom to assemble and freedom seek redress from our government of our grievances. It is strongly hoped that this is not what the City of Chicago is gearing up to do at the G8/NATO conferences in Chicago in May.

The main stream media like CNN (who were not on the scene) reported that protesters threw metal pipes and fire flares and destroyed construction equipment and OPD asked the protesters to disperse prior to firing tear gas and flash bangs into the crowd. live streaming by freelance journalists http://www.ustream.tv/occupyoakland showed that this was clearly not the case.
