Hello Guys and Girls I have never actually had to find a purchaser for a car before as I usually wind up using my cars right until they pretty much fall to pieces and have to be taken to be scapped. However, I was very fortunate that my dad had some money come in unexpectedly and got me a new car. I have not driven it a great deal because I have moved to central London, and figure parking it, having to pay insurance, taking it for a service and so on is a cost I am unable toreally rationalise due to the fact I drive the car approximately once a month to get out of the city. So that in combination with having pressing bills, I have decided to sell it. The dilemma is I do not know what is the easiest way to do it. Because of the fact I would like the money as fast as possible I don’t want to fall into the hands of a used car dealer who detects my failings in that department and he is likely going to recognise I am a dizzy woman who just isn't going to really have any idea. I was wondering about placing ads in local papers and even thought about some fun methods I have seen other people use. There was one guy who put his car on a busy roadside near a gas station with a bright For Sale notice stuck on the windows and a hot girl stood alongside it, which I thought was an effective idea. What I really need to know is, are these off the internet selling practices, be it a dealer, a sign, or print ads going to end up being more efficient (and faster) than advertising over the internet? I have just come upon a website that says “
We buy cars” and was about to post my car details - but don’t want to do that if there are more beneficial methods to advertise it? A friend suggested
http://www.sellyourcaronlineinuk.co.uk - it seems simple and easy enough - no lengthy forms to fill out or high costs. Thanks for any replies - all viewpoints will be appreciated!
