Occupy High School website

Hi,
My name is Ava and I'm with the High School Outreach committee. We're building a site that we hope can act as an index of HS occupations across the country--right now, schools are atomized and there is little means of inter-district communication between students. This is especially true for Occupy Chicago, and is especially worrying in the light of Occupy Education's impending March 1 date for a National Day of Action. Please take a look at our site, http://occupyhighschool.org/, and tell us what you think. Even though it's still waiting to become searchable, it's had 500 views and 20 linked schools in the past 3 weeks.

However, I believe that OccupyChicago needs to get on the creation of a website specific to Chicago High Schools. California is working on one (for kindergarten through higher education) that looks pretty good--here's a link: http://occupyeducationca.org/wordpress/

Thanks,
Ava

I agree. 72 million children in the USA.. no reason they shouldn't have a say in their future. Sounds like a great project for some HS Occupiers in the Chi town area.
