CALLING EVERYONE: It was just decided in our GA today and subsequent DA meeting that we will be marching from a press conference here in Niagara Square Buffalo, New York to a press conference at the Buffalo News next Friday, December 9, 2011. The first press conference is at 3:30, we leave here at 4:00-4:15, arriving at the Buffalo News at 4:30 where we hold the second press conference. TELL EVERYONE THIS WILL BE HUGE. #VeteransForTruthAndJustice SPREAD THE WORD, THE VETERANS OF WNY WILL NOT TOLERATE SYSTEMATIC DEFAMATION OF OUR MILITARY HEROES! If you didn’t already know the Buffalo News printed a story trying to discredit Christopher Simmance. Chris has been with Occupy buffalo since the first overnight on October 8. He is a veteran and the Buffalo News personally attacked his service and in the article, there are some inconsistencies. Including where Stephen T. Watson claimed that Chris had not served in Iraq, while quoting an article from The Buffalo News in 2008 affirming Chris had served in Iraq. This is inconsistent and is completely distasteful, and shows a severe lack of journalistic responsibility. I will provide the links to affirm what I have said.
