Hello comrades,
I just moved back to Chicago from the east coast where I attended college so I'm new to Occupy Chicago but I have spent plenty of time at Occupy Wall Street. I was wondering if any of you would be interested in organizing/ participating in an anti-capitalist bloc during the labor march on Thursday. What I'm proposing is not necessarily a black bloc proper but a rather, a contingent of ultra-leftists, autonomists, anti-capitalists, insurrectionists, and communists/ socialists etc. I just think it would be more powerful and fun if we all marched and held banners/ pickets together so we are visible. I understand that you are meeting tonight at 9 to make banners. Unfortunately I will not be able to make it but please contact me if you are interested in forming this bloc, especially considering the time constraints. Hopefully we can figure out a time and place to meet up before the march possibly tomorrow evening. From there we can discuss logistics about where to meet on the day of the march.
