Hi peacekeepers! In continuing our discussion of how conflict resolution and peacekeeping can work together, I wanted to invite everyone in this group to a workshop conflict resolution is having tomorrow. It will be a great opportunity to learn and practice skills in conflict resolution and restorative justice and to discuss more proactive responses to conflict and potential harm in the Occupy movement. Anyone is welcome; this will be a chance to learn about the concepts, discuss with others the challenges you've faced with conflict, and come away with practical skills that we can use as our occupation grows and expands!

We will also be beginning our training in peace circles, a restorative justice tool that we hope can be useful to promote accountability, inclusion and healing within our community. We will have a trained facilitator who works with Restorative Justice Evanston http://www.restorativejusticeevanston.com/ come lead a workshop so that we can build our skills base together and be more effective in the future!
