medical briefing for security saturday the 12th.

We will be holding a medical briefing for security and safety people this saturday the 12th from 4pm-6pm during the concert. Medic Scott and I will be rotating safety people through an approximate 1.5 hour medical briefing during which we will cover:

Medic roles at protests
Dressing for cold weather actions
Situational awareness
Police tactics
recognizing medical problems/emergencies
universal precautions
police weapons and injuries associated with them
recognizing outside "affinity groups" and how to approach them
protecting ones self from chemical weapons
eye flushes for chemical weapons

Dress warm and bring a water proof jacket if possible! Meet up at grant park near congress and michigan, Bunny is co-ordinating security rotations.
