I have an idea. It’s very simple. I think that we should all get together on Labor Day (3 day weekend) at the White House. Although these problems are not President Obama’s, he can help us (the middle class) like he has been for a few years now.

A few months ago, my boyfriend and I were watching a show about foreign protests and how they forced the politicians to make the changes they wanted. After all, we vote them in. It seems to me
that in America, when you vote in a politician, it gives them the right to use their status to line their pockets via lobbyism. I guess not all of them do it but we have seen a large amount of them get
away with it for years. The good news is that some of the old farts have decided to quit this year.
Barney Frank, the guy who was supposed to oversee Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae. Newt got a big fee from one of the mortgage giants and Mitt invested in some mortgage backed securities but he didn’t know about it. DON’T VOTE FOR THEM. THEY LIE AND ARE VERY RICH BECAUSE OF IT. There is a current bill on the floor called 3491. I think if two or three hundred thousand people hike to Washington on Labor Day weekend, and make the old farts work on a new revised bill 3491 that weekend, that Pres will sign it for us. He can’t do it alone. Make lobbyism illegal.
Give it more prison time and bigger fines.

There is one more important thing. We need a symbol. I have enclosed what I think it should be. When we were watching the show, I remember one commentator saying that you have to have a symbol of what you are fighting for. Pick up a piece of red material from Joann’s Fabrics (about a buck) and a stick.
Like a piece of wood (dowel). Cut the red material into the shape of a stop sign. Outline it in white with
white out or paint or have it hot stamped for fifty cents a letter. See below. It will work. If you have that many people protesting, we will win. But we need to be waiving that flag. It will be in history books for our grand kids to read.

The republicans have tied Obama’s hands long enough. And they screwed us. They new if they lifted every regulation on the mortgage industry that everyone would want one (a house). It drove the price way up (supply and demand) and created a mess. Part of the additional unemployment was because of all the construction workers being laid off. And then they let Wall Street bet against the failure. Not sure who was responsible for that three page document that was signed for the first seven hundred billion dollars that disappeared should be fired and forced to stand in the unemployment line. It’s states in that document that these documents will never be reviewed in a court of law. Was it a banker. Let’s see, which one was it.

I don’t have the money to make a million flags. But if everyone in the country made one (except the snobby rich people who got rich because of the middle class people around them who never give raises, have 15 cars and 7 houses and don’t care about the middle class people who got them their and don’t even offer to split health insurance costs because well they need another car) put it on the front porch or meet us in Washington on Labor Day weekend, we will make progress. People working will have a three day weekend. We should plan on staying until the bill is signed. It might take a few days. I say we make the fat cats work for once in 30 years. And then we should fire them.

43% of congressmen become lobbyists when they leave.

I wish the Pres would ask me to speak at the State of the Union address. I would have two words to say to the congress and senate. “YOU’RE FIRED”.

JULY 4th should be MAKE A FLAG DAY

Cut red material in the shape of a stop sign for a symbol. LOBBYISM in a circle with a line thru it in white. Type underneath it MAKE IT ILLEGAL. Attach it to a stick. This is our symbol. This is what we want. If one humndres thousand people show up congress will have to work. The pres will sign it for us.

We need a symbol in front of the White House on Labor Day Weekend.






















Just think, if everyone in the country decided to not buy gas on Wednesday (it might take a little getting used to) but the oil companies would start to realize that they can’t screw us any more. Everyone should know how many different products are created from one gallon of oil. Yep, they are screwing us.
It will keep the price down if everyone stopped buying one day a week. Don’t go to the pump on Wednesday’s.
