I woke up to this. I'm not sure who Brock is, but he was overly-defensive, didn't have answers to reasonable questions. It sounded like he was, I dunno, trying to be civilly disobedient over the phone? At the very least, he was rude and hostile.
Is this the new image of Occupy Chicago? Afterward, Bill (sitting in for the regular guy) invited people to call in to discuss. One woman was shaking because her kids live in the city and people like that scare her (oh good grief already) but the other two callers, both claiming to be supportive of the movement, were quite dismayed by his attitude, and pretty much both effectively stated that if that's an example of what the movement is becoming, then they're turning their backs on it.
Lot's of damage control to do here folks. Is this "Brock" guy for real? Or just the guy who answered the phone, or someone who fabricated press release? Cause as I was listening, all I could think was, OMG, srsly?
