Hey guys,

My name is Kendall Ricks, I've been occupying off and on for a little while now. I'm sending this message in regards to an idea that came up with a group i'm involved with called the Chicago Scratch Orchestra. Essentially the CSO is a 40-45 piece band of dedicated and serious musicians with a diverse range of instrumentation. There has been a lot of emailing each other back and forth about possibly organizing a performance of some sort at Occupy Chi. I said that I would bring this to the attention of the Arts & Recreation committee for some feedback and possible ideas about this performance.

If anyone is interested or has any idea as to how we could make this performance a reality I believe that it would be a great addition to the occupy movement as well as a bright opportunity for these musicians to further expand their musical abilities in a unique and innovative manner.

I think this sounds really great... I would love to help organize something like this however I cannot do it on my own so hopefully more people will post an interest.
