I'd like to find a private park like what Boston and New York have so we can be more organized.

We can still protest at the Fed everyday, but it'd be nice to have a little home to go to.

Anyone have any ideas?

Can we find a private park?

I don't know who owns this park. In the day it's used as a dog park by people from the various apartments allowing pets. There are holes in the fence where it has been broken down, and I think it's basically unattended. No idea if this is a place you can get a permit to set up a base but I think people can sleep here. p.s, across the bridge is where the storage facility is.

A private park will more than likely not work.   Look at New York the owners of the park have stated that if they knew the action would evolved this way they would have asked for police assistance immediately.

Any private property we squat on is going to know what the end result will be.  You would need permission in advance.

I believe the only city that has gotten approval is Boston, which got permission from the mayor.

I KNOW WHERE TO GO! THE CHICAGO RIVER WALK JUST EAST OF COLUMBUS AVE! DOWN ALONG THE RIVER THERE IS A WONDERFUL SPACE WITH PLENTY OF ROOM FOR ALL AND THE BEST PART IS, IT ISN'T A PARK, IT'S ZONED AS A PEDESTRIAN THOROUGHFARE AND MUST BE OPEN 24 HRS A DAY JUST LIKE A SIDEWALK!

SOMEBODY WITH SOME CLOUT WALK OVER TO THE CORNER OF WACKER AND COLUMBUS, TAKE THE STAIRS DOWN TO THE RIVER WALK, AND CHECK IT OUT!

The river walk will not work since we will be blocking a public walk way, not to mention how cold it will be down there.
