Facing Foreclosure
My husband and I are facing foreclosure like many others we have struggled to keep our home, we have done the loan modification, but they came back with modification deducation of $300.00 which doesn't even put a dent in to help our mortgage Crisis. What's even worse is that you can never get a hold of anyone! We even went to the Attorney General and Bank of America did not work with them. Of course I get the same answer, Your mortgage is more than what your house is worth. Uh no kidding! They would rather have another house sitting empty depreciating a neighborhood than help people try to stay in there homes? Doesnt make sense. If people are willing to make an effort to stay in there homes and wanting to negotiate a rate or reasonable payment a month, shouldn't you try to help those people? Is there another outlet I can seek help?
I believe we are the victim's of the subprime mortgage as well, we do have an attorney looking into it but I think we are at the end of our rope. I mean if the Attorney General Can't help, I guess your really out of options.
Shame on Bank of America, as long as the government keeps bailing them whey should they care about us staying in our homes. It's so frustrating that they will not attempt even negotiate with you a reasonable payment amount or extend the monthly terms of the loan.
I will never bank there and hopefully never have a home loan through them again!
