Incorporating the Online Forum
Re: Incorporating the Online Forum
I know it would be hard to efficiently incorporate things from the net but I think it can be done. Perhaps it would be easiest during committee meetings for the representative to take a moment to present some of these ideas found online.
I actually think this is essential due to the fact that many people who need this movement can't take part due to jobs, being unable to afford getting downtown on a regular basis. Obviously this forum is in in its infancy but I think as we spread the word of our movement it can potentially be a great resource.

Incorporating the Online Forum
Seriously, people put a lot of stuff on this forum, many good thoughts, ideas, and observations. I think your idea is necessary and good.
I have emailed different @occupy addresses with particular references to the forums on a couple of occasions. One person replied! Twice! That was good. And, I have also asked, are you all checking the forum? Is anyone checking the forum and bringing it into the GA?
I think that your idea of having people act as committee reps in regard to forum is a good idea.
