[Contact form] teach-in needed on threats to attack Iran

At yesterday's meeting of the Midwest Antiwar Mobilization, we voted unanimously to endorse a statement opposing the threat of US attack on Iran ( http://www.worldcantwait.net/index.php/home-mainmenu-289/7436-dont-attack-iran ) and to work in other ways to resist the U.S. move to war against Iran.

We recommend a teach-in about this issue. Possible focus could be (a) history of US behavior toward Iran; (b) perspective on the nuclear controversy; (c) perspective on how Iran fits into current US strategy in the region.

We have a working group convening shortly on this and will refine some ideas for the most effective public information approachs. Please contact me if there are OC folks who want to help give direction to our broader effort, and/or to talk about the specifics of a possible OC teach-in on this topic.
