A decisions system?

As a movement, we are suffering from a bureaucratic paralysis. When a speaker is requested for a function, we dissolve into camps that ask, is it co-option? Is this endorsement? Should we stay or should we go? I am not on tech, but I know that y'all have discussed a voting system, albeit with a touch of the absurd.

I wonder if a decisions group could be set up by the website. This would be all-inclusive, for those who want to be making this sort of decision, and would therefore remain democratic. This secure system could send out emails to people when a decision needs to be made and then they would have an amount of time—say five hours—to get their vote in.

It could even be divided into decision groups for certain issues. Then we could present the idea and a list of the types of time-sensitive decisions to be made to GA to see if we want to approve permission for such a process to exist. It would probably be good to go down the list of types of decisions in a line-item fashion, if the idea gets support at all.
