Hello Occupy Chicago,
Just a suggestion, Grover Norquest was on 60 minutes yesterday, and he was talking about the petition that Republicans in the Senate and Congress signed that would not allow tax increases for any group - including the 1% (Here's a clip of him on 60 minutes http://www.cbsnews.com/video/watch/?id=7389006n). Billionaires and major companies have contributed to the Grover Norquest Pack Fund.
With this Fund, money has been allocated to be used against any Republican that signed the no tax petition and decided to change his mind and tax the 1%. This money would be used to run a different candidate during the Republican Primary Election to help unseat Republicans that decided to tax the 1%. This is the main reason why you see the disparity in the tax system that favors the rich. Grover Norquest said that the people who fund his Pack money are to remain anonymous.
It would be interesting to know if any of the people that are part of the Occupy Chicago could get into Grover Norquest's system and find out who his contributors were. To me, this sounds like a very powerful way to help the Occupy Chicago's cause - that is, if Grover Norquest's contributors were announced to the press as well as posted on the Occupy Chicago's website. I hope this idea helps the Occupy Chicago's mission.
