I don't know if its already been thrown out there, but I was thinking that maybe a Google+ account for the movement could be pretty useful. With that you could do live streams, live updates, links, and pretty much anything else in one unified place. Just throwing it out there though.

I think this is a great idea. We already embrace Facebook and Twitter so isn't a G+ account sort of a no-brainer? The more tentacles we have in our movement, the greater our reach will be.

Plus, holding Occupy Chicago hangouts would be a great way to have on-the-fly meetings and spread the word for people who aren't able to make it to GAs and marches.

Has Google+ opened it's doors to non-personal pages? If so, this is definitely a venture which should be looked into. If not, then probably not, considering Google has deleted MANY corporate Google+ accounts during the Beta, and would likely do the same to this.

On a similar note, has a YouTube been created?

Maybe not if we used a few diff google + accounts as a means to communicate between committees. There is so much overlap it's useful to have efficient lines of communication.

I agree, but the issue becomes having the central account. I am simply not up-to-date with Google+ TOS.

A quick search of G+ confirmed what I'd suspected - several Occupy movements have already set up a profile, regardless of Google's official stance on the issue.

It's worth mentioning that while Google hasn't gone out of their way to welcome non-personal pages, it seems like they're dragging their feet in deleting these pages, whether purposefully or not.

It's probably worthwhile to set one up, and if it gets deleted, so be it. AntiSec and LulzSec have G+ pages that haven't been deleted yet, for crying out loud.
