What? Site Admin Emails?

Postby Chris » Tue Nov 08, 2011 6:34 pm

What are these types of emails that I am getting from the site admin? What do they mean? Where do they come from? Why do I get them?

chicago kitty (http://www.occupychi.org/author/chicago-kitty) sent a message using the contact form at http://www.occupychi.org/contact.

I have been a little out of the loop with the GAs. Wanted to ask when your next meeting is so that I can attend.
Thanks.

Here it is, another one: Dan Massoglia (dmassoglia@gmail.com) sent a message using the contact form at http://occupychi.org/contact.

someone add me to the googlegroup please? i'm tired of outreach/DA joint emails getting lost cause i'm not on the listserv.

Sounds like there is yet ANOTHER hoop someone has to jump through in order to join in on the Occupy Chicago movement.

Where does it explain on this forum how to join the googlegroup?

Hope Asya (hope.asyabroughton@loop.colum.edu) sent a message using the contact form at http://occupychi.org/contact.

Hey, I've been coming out for a while and I'd like to be on the direct action committee, can someone add me to the mailing list and what?

Thanks,
Hope

I'm not sure why you're posting these. All contact form submissions will automatically create a forum topic in the correct committee. :)

See this page: http://occupychi.org/committees ?

When you send contact to one of them, everyone who has checked the box on that committee will receive the e-mail. A forum post will also be created and the Google group will be e-mailed. It's just a way to make sure that all this information (especially committee requests) will get the sunshine they require, and won't be able to languish away behind some invite-only group.

You're welcome!
