sustainability project on Iowa farm
Hello,
We are starting a project integrating sustainable agriculture, communities, and alternative paradigms of living on a 300 acre farm in Southern Iowa. We are developing this project as a constructive alternative to the prevailing social, political, and economic systems.
We are looking for people who would be interested in coming to be part of our farming/community project. We will be developing projects in organic gardening and farming, natural building, building a community, and starting to work towards the creation of trained group of activists working towards a better world by working in rural, suburban and rural regions.
I am reaching out to Occupy Chicago in the hopes that there would be people who would be interested in coming to work with us on the farm here. We offer rather rugged accommodations and food. We are searching for people who are interested in applying their energy and skills to create a better world as an alternative to the prevailing society.
I would like to spread the word of our endeavor to your group, and I am seeking your guidance on how we could get the word out about our project. If you are willing to assist us in this, please let me know the best way to do it.
Best wishes,
Daniel

OC lost it's way a while ago. Don't expect a response from any of the "non-leaders." Unlike other occupy movements, Chicago occupiers cannot handle the midwest elements so they are currently renting a $5,000 loft building to discuss how they are going to change the world. Unfortunately, I don't think this group could sustain rugged conditions for more than a day or two. Good luck with your endeavor!
