My name is Ava and I'm a junior in high school. I've been working with Outreach members in both the Education and Outreach forums to build a website, which is now up and ready, with the aim of getting as many students, parents, and teachers to sign a letter of protest and join a wider discussion. Hi,
Our biggest concern right now should be that Occupy Chicago has no means of inter-school communication. This is especially worrying in the light of Occupy Education's March 1 National Day of Action (M1). Because I can't go to the GA's, I don't know if anything is being planned on that front, but heavy organization is necessary to pull anything on M1's scale off. I've posted the text of an email I've received regarding a national conference call that OccupyEd is hosting on FEB 5, this Sunday, in a new thread: http://occupychi.org/phpbbforumforum/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=2345
