Nov 17, Bank of America Tax Collection Day

Postby ninetyninepercent » Sat Oct 29, 2011 3:34 pm

As was shared with the General Assembly 10/28:

Bank of America paid zero dollars in taxes last year despite claiming $4.4 billion in profit.

If you think it's time for Bank of America to pay over a billion dollars in back taxes, declare so here.

If they don't, on Thursday, November 17th, we will shut down as many branches as we have protesters for.

Previous demonstrations indicate that around 20 protesters are required to shut down a branch.

The branch locator http://locators.bankofamerica.com/locat ... tions.html indicates there are 50 branches within 3 miles of Chicago, IL.

1,000 people on Thursday can shut down all of Bank of America in Chicago, for not paying their taxes.

If we pay our share of taxes, so should they.
