A Wave to Mayor Rahm acceptable?

Dear Fellow Occupiers;

Would it be acceptable and agreeable to issue a three-second wave to Mayor Emanuel in the manner he likes to wave to friends? Might we hold a "hiya" Rahm at this coming Saturday's protest in which en masse, we put our thumb to our noses and wave generously? "Mayor Rahm! Occupy Says Hi!" "What are we saying?" Occupy Says Hi — and thumb a hello! Thoughts? I don't find it disrespectful. He did it at the inauguration of the President and wasn't, umm, arrested!
