Family Day

We should have a family day. People could bring their kids. There could be a barbecue, music, food trucks, maybe even seasonal activities like pumpkin carving. It will build sympathy within the community, and it will make it way harder for Rahm to shut us down if there are a ton of "regular folks" with their families around.

Hello! I really believe it would be helpful. I do not know who is in charge of logisitcs and planning for the group.. I was part of a large group that organized and protested the Bush 1 War. We had leaders that were clearly defined. Does anyone know who I could present this idea to? I feel the family demographic could really put a positive spin on the movement, while restricting the CPD from acting aggressive. TRUST ME, the police will be on better behavior on family day. We should notify Rahm's office that it will be happening to pre-empt any deniability later. Who do I present this idea to so that we can start planning it??? Thanks so much!!!
