Family Day
Many school children were there on the 8th with the unions.
I am sure there are teachers who would like to use this as a civics lesson.
I saw an organized protest march through Roscoe Village by grade schoolers against bullying.
Maybe the University of Chicago Lab School could help? The principles of the movement fits their philosophy... and educates politicians children. That's a way to bring it home!

I believe the children will learn a great deal about democracy ( What we have left of it) by participating. I strongly feel that having them there would change the perception of the group on a larger scale. This group needs to have the public image of employed, responsible people to get the people we are trying to reach to pay attention. It is harder to disregard that demographic.
I really want to know who is in charge of logisitics for Occupy Chicago. I will keep at it. Thanks for the reply Mary!
