I believe that if this movement is to stay strong and garner more public support, we need to start forming all around policy discussions.

I believe this will also attract more people to the movement knowing they will have a chance to discuss what the movement could become, after we get the money out of politics (the most important issue for most of us).

The policy committee would consist of sub committees for things such as economics, foreign policy, health care, etc....

It will also attract people who are experts in those fields and will open up more avenues for us by gaining human capital resources.

So I think just starting policy discussions would show that we are going to be here to stay and that we have long term plans.  I am not asking for us to settle on any policies just to start the discussions.

Proposal to form a policy discussion committee

Postby JP Hochbaum » Wed Oct 19, 2011 10:55 am

So I have just received confirmation from Roger Mitchell, who is in the Chicago area, that he would be glad to teach an area of our economy/currency in monetary sovereignty.

If we want to be a movement in thought then we need to take advantage of this opportunity.

Here is a link to his blog which outlines some of his policy suggestions:

Bump.  I really want to be able to propose this, within the next week or two.  How exactly does this work?
