I have a friend who is a former film student at Columbia College Chicago who is willing to come from as far away as Alabama to help us. We are prepared to spend the day gathering footage on the ground to show the movement at the ground level in a documentary.
As we transition to the evening, we want to run an all-night broadcast with semi-professional production quality.
We need volunteers to do the following:
Anchors to present information to the viewers.
Researchers pulling in data from movements across the world on social networks and elsewhere.
Remote crews doing spots on the ground.
We also need a firm understanding of where the protest will be on Saturday night so that we can select a location with an elevated view which will serve as our studio (as precise as possible, please).
Please do not miss this incredible opportunity.
While not *absolutely* necessary, this trip is a considerable financial burden for a student to make, is there any possibility of covering gas and hotel expenses? Depending on our location, the hotel room could in fact end up being the studio.
Please let me know what comes of this and send all volunteer details (which jobs and how to contact you) to ColinPYoung@Yahoo.com
