I understand and respect your concerns. If anyone has a hidden agenda I would love to find out and publicly discuss the situation. Unless there is proof I don't feel that it is fair to make that accusation on a public forum. All that will do is make new people afraid to give us a chance. Find some allies on the field and make it something that can be dealt with at base and not on here. Understand that new people coming in read these. If they sense drama and nonsense it may push them away. If the proof exists and you can present a case then great. People will see that we don't put up with bullshit and all is well. Right now it sounds like bickering and finger pointing. That is not solidarity.
I need to also say that we all need to be patient. I'm not sure many of us have been doing this for a long time. We aren't pros on the format yet, on the communication as a whole, and on the self-restraint often needed to keep things from becoming personal. Give it all time to come together. Get on the forums and on the street discussing the grievances about the format or the whatever else. This is a work in progress and we have the potential to change the world. Be patient. Energy focused on bashing, name calling, finger pointing, etc. could much more efficiently be used on constructive ideas to help us grow. You don't like something? Find a solution and present it to us. Create a new system. Choose a plan and get us on board. The negativity only divided us no matter how well intentioned you may be.
And I agree that fliers/pics/posters with the faces of certain individuals within the group imply that these are leaders. If faces are on there they should be chosen strategically. A pic with every demographic all on one pic? Maybe that has a purpose. "We are all leaders." Put that on a flier with a representative from the latino community, the african american community, the asian community, the jewish, catholic, lutheran, muslim community, the homosexual community. Put them all on a single picture with "We are all leaders. We are the 99%". It invites ALL the 99%. No one person is glorified on there. No group is neglected. We take no stance beyond "we are the 99%". Strategically I feel this would be good. I, a white man, feel that the voice of the white man is far too dominant in our country. If we are going to change the world I want to have the non-white group to have an equal voice. A flier as I described would be very welcoming to the very people we are lacking.
All I'm sayin. Will be back tomorrow. Love you all.

If you are afraid to discuss this type of stuff it will only get worse. Secrecy is what breeds corruption. People need to understand that there may be a tendency within them to push their own personal view points on the collective. When it happens and someone points it out to you then one should work towards undoing that. If you can not take constructive criticism then you do not belong in the position of the moderator.
All the evidence that I need to support my claim was put forth by the moderator in the night in question. If you were there then you would likely know what I mean if not then go back and watch the video as I think it was recorded.

Again, I apologize for the tone of the message. I will be sure to try to override the process next time.
