helping oc find a new site

It appears, from OC's latest post, that the police are asking protesters to move their food and provisions. Is there anything we can do, as supporters, help OC find a better location and petitioning the mayor to allot a space that is close to the Financial district? It would be great if they'd close off a couple of blocks for OC so the streets could be used, but I'm not expecting miracles. Ideas? Input? Do you need help from us?

Just a thought, but if you ask the Chicago Film office for a filming permit, you could take over a street/area and as long as there is a camera "filming" you'd be able to stay.

It may work as a loophole.

they must not be looking for a larger space or street occupation at this point.
