Are there any credit unions or smaller community banks in Chicago that don't have membership requirements?  I have been having trouble finding a credit union that I qualify for.

All credit unions have membership requirements as a matter of federal law.  http://www.asmarterchoice.org/ can help you find one you can join.  Many of them are pretty permissive.

I've got a suggestion.  The Achilles Heel of the banking system is the toxic mortgage assets on their books.  They are using these toxic assets as leverage to engage in more risky behavior.   If we can expose to the public their true asset value on a macro scale, it would put a huge dent in the system and expose all sorts of other types of fraud.  This would be a very big win!

Currently I'm in the process of writing a proposal to police and account for these toxic mortgage assets and real estate owned by the banks that is booked at a grossly inflated value.  It will take a tremendous amount of labor (hundreds of people on their computers and on the streets), maybe a few thousand dollars worth of programming, legal fees, and server space, but the reward would be enormous.  Is anybody interested?
