what is #globalNOISE?

a coalition of international occupy and indignato organizations are discussing a global day of action in October 2012. right now, the plan is to have a international casserole march happen all over the world on the same day.

the plan has not solidified into anything as of yet, as the organizers are trying to build consensus within those that are planning it. the meetings are open and happen over the mumble chat server. anyone and everyone is invited to participate.

what am i proposing?

i would like Occupy Chicago to endorse this event and plan on participating. i am already participating in the planning group and would be happy to have help. those of us working with the #globalNOISE working group will report back developments to the GA in a timely fashion, so that all of OC can stay informed as the plan develops. input from the GA will be taken back to the meetings as suggestions, and in this way our GA will have a hand in helping to develop the event. this event is a was off, but i'd like to get it endorsed by OC so that more occupations can see it as valid.
