That list has 9 people on it including their personal contact information (emails and phone numbers). Occupy Chicago has way more than 9 people devoting their time, energy, and money to this movement.
This proposal asks that the contact information listed for Occupy Chicago be a single email, and phone number (when we set up our phone menu), and to remove the listed names and information. That email should be something along the lines of firstname.lastname@example.org. There will be a new committee or a collaboration of committees to handle this account because there will a lot of information to take in.
Not only is it incredibly dangerous to the people whose names were posted but it also detracts from the horizontal status of the movement whether or not it is a closed document. (We obviously saw how easy it is for someone to gain a person of interest's phone number)
The POC contact list for Occupy Chicago was created and recently released but it mentioned that it is not to be forwarded or posted anywhere online, it was only sent at an attachment to individuals. The National contact list should be handled in the same way, only to be emailed through an attachment (it would be preferable if the information could be encrypted).
When you extract $4.5 billion dollars from major banks you officially declare war on your oppressors and to so loosely post people's contact information without consent is not only appalling, but reckless.
