On September 17th, Occupy Chicago, and our allies in struggle, will celebrate the anniversary of Occupy Wall Street by honoring global austerity resistance. As waves of austerity have crashed through this city, and countries throughout the the world, we've found heroes in the streets. They are teachers. They are mental health consumers. They are neighbors we had never met. We have stood alongside the vulnerable, the righteous, and the brave in our efforts to build a better world. Together, we have created a community.
We invite that defiant community to join us for an anti-austerity march on September 17th, at Congress and Michigan. Rally at 5:30pm. March steps off at 6:00pm.
